Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ojai, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
The project consists of stadium improvements at Nordhoff Junior High and High School, specifically for bid package no. 6, which covers fences and gates. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided and received in the Office of the Bond Department. The contract time is 150 days. Bids must strictly conform with the contract documents and should be accompanied by designated subcontractor lists as required. Bidder's security in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or bidder’s bond (minimum 10% of the bid amount) is required. The contractor and all subcontractors are to comply with prevailing wage laws, furnish certified payroll records, and provide payment and performance bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount. Award of contract requires payment of prevailing wages and compliance with all applicable labor and business codes. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification of bidders through the District’s quality bidders program is required. Contractors must submit completed prequalification documents at least ten business days before bid opening; only those prequalified will have their bids accepted. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class C-13 License at time of bid and throughout the contract. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered and qualified to perform public work. All subcontractors must be properly licensed for their trades.
