Site work for a mixed-use development in Ojai, California. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; stadium; and educational facility.
Bid No. 2025-1754 is for Stadium Improvements at Nordhoff Jr High and High School under Bid Package No. 7 – Landscape and Irrigation. The contract time is 150 days. Bids must be presented only on forms provided by the District and delivered to the Office of the Bond Department at 703 El Paseo Dr., Ojai, California 93023, to be opened and publicly read aloud at the specified time. The bid documents are available at www.qualitybidders.com. Each bidder shall be a licensed contractor in accordance with the California Business and Professions Code and must possess a valid and active Class C-27 License at the time of bid and throughout the duration of the contract. Subcontractors must be licensed for the trades necessary to perform the work. Each bid must strictly conform to the Contract Documents as defined in the General Conditions. The bidder must submit a list of designated subcontractors as required. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive irregularities or informalities. Each bid must be accompanied by a form of bidder’s security in an amount not less than ten percent of the maximum amount of bid as a guarantee for entering into the proposed contract and providing the required Performance and Payment Bonds, insurance certificates, and any other required documents. Pre-qualification requirements: Prospective bidders must submit a completed set of prequalification documents through the quality bidders program and be prequalified at least ten business days prior to bid opening. Bidders must be currently registered and qualified to perform public work pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class C-27 License. Separate payment and performance bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount, are required. Bidders and subcontractors must comply with Division 2, Part 7, Chapter 1 of the Labor Code, including prevailing wage requirements and submission of certified payroll records. Bids will not be accepted if prequalification is required and not achieved by the contractor.
