Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ojai, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.

Stadium Improvements at Nordhoff JR High and High School, Bid Package No. 3 includes Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety & Security. All bids must be submitted on the forms provided. The Contract Time is 150 days. Contractors should review the General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, and General Requirements regarding milestones and liquidated damages. Bids must strictly conform with and be responsive to the Contract Documents. Each bidder must submit a list of designated subcontractors as required. Separate payment and performance bonds, each equal to 100% of the contract amount, are required. Bonds must be provided before executing the contract and issued by a California admitted surety. Contractors and all subcontractors must comply with prevailing wage requirements and furnish certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner at least monthly. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s security in the amount of at least 10% of the maximum bid amount. The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities or informalities. Requests for substitutions must be submitted with the bid on the required form. It is the bidder's sole responsibility to ensure timely delivery of bids to the designated location. The District will permit substitution of securities for any money withheld to ensure performance under the contract. Each bidder and subcontractor must be licensed pursuant to the California Business and Professions Code and be licensed to perform the work called for in the contract documents. The successful bidder must possess a valid and active Class C-10 License at the time of bid and throughout the contract duration. Bids must be submitted at the specified location and time and will be opened and publicly read aloud. No late bids will be accepted. The bid documents are available at www.qualitybidders.com. There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid conference at the site on the specified date and time. No telephone or facsimile machine will be available to bidders on the District premises at any time. Pre-qualification requirements: Prequalification is mandatory. Prospective bidders must submit a completed set of prequalification documents provided by the District through its quality bidders program not less than ten business days prior to bid opening. Bidders must be notified of their prequalification status at least one day prior to bid opening. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who have not been prequalified. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor and registered to perform public work in accordance with Labor Code section 1725.5. Subcontractors must be licensed according to California law for the required trades. Bidders must also meet requirements for any applicable Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) programs and submit forms as included in the bid package. Each bidder's California State License number must be clearly stated in the proposal. Bids must be for a period of ninety calendar days after the bid opening date. Bidders must submit the required security in the form of cash, cashier’s check, certified check, or bidder’s bond executed by a California admitted surety.
