Renovation of a mixed-use development in Hamilton Sq, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a theater / auditorium.
Sealed Bid Proposals will be received for Auditorium Upgrades at Steinert High School, 2900 Klocker Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690, for the Hamilton Township School District. Work is to be performed in accordance with Drawings and Project Manuals, Commission No. 25K070. All work incidental thereto, as prepared by Spiezle Architectural Group, Inc., is included. Bidders must use and complete all bid forms provided and comply with all instructions and specifications. Bids must be placed in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name and must be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, but not more than $20,000. Bidders are strongly encouraged to visit the project sites to gain a full understanding of the scope of work. The bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following trades: C008 GENERAL CONSTRUCTION or C009 GENERAL CONSTRUCTION / ALTERATIONS and ADDITIONS. Subcontractors named in the Form of Bid Proposal for Structural Steel, Plumbing, Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning, and/or Electric, who perform any work on the Project, must be prequalified prior to the submission of bids. Each bid must be accompanied by proof of Contractor's DPMC classification status. All bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Bids must include a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, for the bidder and all named subcontractors whose prices are included in the Contractor's bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process in accordance with the law if it is in the best interest of the Owner. The Contract, if awarded, shall be to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive in all material respects to the bid requirements. Question Deadline 03/02/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidders as to the meaning of the Drawings and Project Manual. Should any questions arise as to the true meaning of any item noted on the Drawings, Specifications, or other Contract Documents, the bidder will immediately forward a request in writing to the Architect for interpretation as soon as such question arises.
