The Contractor shall construct a monument sign based on existing design specifications, to be installed at Kelley Park at 404 Victory Farm Drive, Gaithersburg, Maryland. The scope includes engineering, permitting, manufacture and procurement of materials, construction, and delivery of complete as-built documentation. The sign will be installed on a small, sloped hill between a floodplain barrier and the Harriet Tubman Elementary School property line. The Contractor will receive detailed specifications, including dimensions, materials, colors, and finishes, and is required to attend a kickoff meeting onsite to review all aspects. No deviations from specifications will be approved unless authorized in writing by the City's Project Manager. Material samples must be submitted for approval prior to manufacture or ordering. Any discrepancies or missing details must be reported in writing to the City's Project Manager immediately, and the Contractor must work with the City to resolve them. The name of the park, Kelley Park, must be included on the sign and approved prior to manufacturing. Minimum qualifications include eight years of related construction experience, a supervisor with at least five years of experience, use of a Maryland licensed surveyor, and registration to do business in Maryland.
