Thornton Township High School District 205 invites qualified firms to submit Statements of Qualifications for Asbestos Abatement Consulting Services for classroom renovation projects scheduled for Summer 2026. Services may include asbestos inspections, bulk sampling, laboratory coordination, project monitoring, air monitoring, clearance testing, reporting, and regulatory compliance oversight per AHERA, OSHA, EPA, and Illinois Department of Public Health requirements. Interested firms must demonstrate experience providing asbestos consulting services in K12 school environments, current IDPH asbestos firm licensing, use of properly credentialed staff, independence from asbestos abatement contractors, and adequate staffing to meet summer schedules. Required submittals must include firm qualifications and relevant project experience, resumes and certifications of credentialed personnel, gross revenue statements for the past two fiscal years, proof of required insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance documentation. The District reserves the right to reject any or all submittals, waive informalities, and request additional information.
