Renovation of an educational facility in South Holland, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Electrical/Low Voltage scope of work at Thornton High School and Thornwood High School as part of classroom renovations. The project is for the Board of Education of Thornton Township High School District 205. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for at least ten percent of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor/Material Payment Bond from an approved surety. Not less than the prevailing wage must be paid for labor, and all state and federal public works laws and regulations, including the Illinois School Code and Illinois Human Rights Act, must be followed. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities or technicalities, and award as best serves the interests of the Owner.
