Jackson County Board of Education is seeking proposals for the service of and change out of HVAC filters at ten schools, four times per year. The intent is to enter into a contractual agreement with one company for a minimum term of twelve months, with the possibility of extension for additional one-year periods. Pricing and contracting should be based on quarterly maintenance/service, along with a description of what is included. Contractors not previously employed by Jackson County Schools to perform such services must provide a detailed written description of their qualifications and two references for similar work. Within ten days of contract award, the successful bidder must provide written verification of Workers’ Compensation Coverage, liability insurance of $1,000,000, and a general contractor’s license for the state of West Virginia. Jackson County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process.
