Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Packwood, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The work consists of replacing the Fryingpan Creek Bridge with a new single-span, 218.5-foot steel plate girder bridge with a cast-in-place concrete deck, supported on deep foundation drilled-shaft abutments, and demolishing the existing steel arch girder bridge once the new structure is complete. The project includes roadway realignment, construction of a parking lot, minor pipe-culvert replacement, stone masonry, and placement of associated roadway features along approximately 0.27 miles of project length. Work also includes construction of a separator wall and other associated structural elements necessary to complete the bridge replacement. Location: Fryingpan Creek Bridge, approximately 31 miles north of Packwood, Washington. The price range of the project work is between $15,000,000 and $25,000,000. requests for technical information about this project will only be accepted in writing.
