The work consists of roadway drainage and pavement structure improvements and all required appurtenances, located in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. Bidders must obtain the bidding documents, including plans, specifications, and addenda, directly from the Engineer. A certified check or bid bond payable to the County of Jefferson in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must be deposited with the proposal. Bidders are required to submit the Non-Collusion Affidavit included in the contract documents. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds in the full amount of the contract, furnish insurance coverage as required, and submit evidence of qualifications to perform the work. All bonds must be executed by sureties listed as acceptable by the U.S. Treasury Department. Minimum wages as required by the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act must be paid to all employees. Proposal envelopes must be sealed and clearly marked with the contract number and the name and address of the bidder. No bids may be withdrawn except as permitted by Pennsylvania law.
