Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of the installation of 265 L.F. of 8" waterline, and all required appurtenances. The project is located in Rose Township, Jefferson County, PA. All work must be completed by December 22, 2025. A certified check or bid bond payable to or naming as obligee Brookville Municipal Authority in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must be deposited with the proposal. Bidders must submit with their bids the Non-Collusion Affidavit contained in the contract documents. The Successful Bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and to furnish and pay for performance and payment bonds, each of said bonds to be in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price, all in the respective forms provided in the Bidding Documents. The Contractor also will be required to furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the Bidding Documents. All bonds shall be in the form prescribed in the Contract Documents and shall be executed by sureties as are named in the current list of "Companies Holding Certificates of Authority as Acceptable Sureties on Federal Bonds and as Acceptable Reinsuring Companies" as published in Circular 570 (amended) by the Audit Staff, Bureau of Government Financial Operations, U.S. Treasury Department. Notice is given that not less than the minimum wage rates set forth in the Contract Documents must be paid to employees on this project. The Successful Bidder will be required to comply with Prevailing Minimum Wages in accordance with the PA Department of Labor & Industry Prevailing Wage Determination. The Contractor is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act of 1978, P.L. 6, as amended. The Act and amendments require that the Contractor use or furnish only steel products (as defined in the Act and amendments) which have been produced in the United States. No bids may be withdrawn, except when the bidder meets the requirements of Act No. 4 of the General Assembly of Pennsylvania Senate Bill 793, Printers No. 1655. Doc note: Sets of documents may be obtained upon payment for each set of a non-refundable fee of Two Hundred Dollars and No Cents ($200.00). Payment is also accepted using VISA or MasterCard. There will be an additional charge for express delivery requests. Contract documents may also be obtained electronically at no charge. Bidding documents including plans, specifications and addenda must be obtained directly from the Engineer for a bid to be considered. The Brookville Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality and to award the contract as may be deemed by the Authority to be in their best interest. Bids shall remain open for a period of 60 days from the date of Bid opening unless award is delayed by a required approval from a governmental agency, the sale of bonds, or the award of a grant or grants, in which event the Bids shall remain open for a period of 120 days from the date of Bid opening.
