Site work and paving for a road / highway in Brookville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed bids will be received for the Brookville Borough 2026 Paving Project # 26-33403-001. All bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at the scheduled Council meeting. The project documents and proposal forms are available at the Borough Complex. The project requires the use of Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates and must be completed by August 30, 2026. If not completed by this date, liquidated damages will be charged at the rate of $885.00 per day. No work is allowed from June 13, 2026 to June 20, 2026. A bid security, either a certified check or bid bond amounting to no less than ten percent of the total bid, must accompany each proposal. All proposals must comply with the instructions for bid submission. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities, but contracts will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the bid opening, except as provided by law.
