As of this time it is unknown if and when project will rebid.** The project includes furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment and other incidental and appurtenant work to replace the roof, repair the elevator, remove asbestos in ceiling tiles and flooring on the 2nd and 3rd floors, and replace the heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system(s) and energy management system (EMS) at the West Wing of Oxnard's Civic Center building located at 305 W Third St in Oxnard, CA. Bids must include bid security equal to ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price and, if awarded, contractors must provide performance and payment bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Total Contract Price. Bidders are required to have a valid Class B California General Building Contractor's License at the time of bid submission and a current City business license at the time of contract award. All work is subject to California prevailing wage laws, and compliance with labor code sections for public works as specified. The successful bidder must complete all work within three hundred seventy-five (375) working days of the City's Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages assessed for late completion. This project is funded by federal grant funds and is subject to related federal requirements, including obtaining a Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) through SAM.gov prior to contract award.
