The work is located at Richard Drive NE from Evergreen Street to Nancy Jane Lane, Nancy Jane Lane NE from Richard Drive to Brookland Drive, and Brookland Drive NE from Nancy Jane Lane to Redbud Road. Bids are requested on a unit price basis. Contractors and subcontractors must conduct pre-employment drug screenings and have a drug and alcohol policy compliant with Iowa Code. Bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid is required. Preferences will be given to Iowa products and domestic labor as legally required. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive informalities, and defer acceptance for up to 60 calendar days after bid opening. Non-discrimination on the grounds of race, color, or national origin is ensured for all bidders.
