Notice is hereby given that the Village of Wilmette will receive bids for the Glenview & Big Tree/Heather Prairie Construction & Stewardship project. A bid bond is required. The proposed work is officially known as Glenview & Big Tree/Heather Prairie Construction & Stewardship, and is further described in the Specifications section. Bidders must provide written acknowledgment of each addendum issued with their submitted bid. Bidders are responsible for checking the Village's website and DemandStar.com for any addenda. Any questions related to this bid should be submitted in writing. All responses and clarifications will be posted online. Bidders' responses are subject to the Illinois Freedom of Information Act and will not be confidential. The deadline for submitting questions is 2:00 pm local time 03/05/2026. Any questions related to this RFB should be submitted in writing to Cliff Ruemmler, Purchasing Manager, at purchase@wilmette.com. Questions received by the Village, including the Villages responses, No clarifications, interpretations or addenda shall be issued after 2:00 pm local time on 03/09/2026. No Pre-Bid Conference Available The successful Bidder shall convert the Glenview & Big Tree/Heather site into native prairie habitat. Necessary work is expected to include, but not be limited to, applying herbicide to remove unwanted vegetation, soil preparation, erosion control, and supplying and installing native shrubs, prairie seed and plugs.
