The project involves the replacement of the roof at the Chattooga County Sheriff's Department, located at 533 Underwood Dairy Road, Trion, Georgia 30753. The scope of work includes removal of existing lightning protection (to be stored for re-installation), removal of the existing EPDM membrane down to the ISO insulation, installation of a new .060 thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) roofing system, removal of all abandoned roof penetrations, replacement of all TPO flashing, trim, and sealants, and work involving through-the-wall scuppers, parapet walls, metal coping, and trim. It also includes the replacement or installation of collector boxes and downspouts. All work must meet industry standards, and contractors are responsible for verifying all measurements and site conditions before submitting a bid. Bids must include the total project cost, per-square-foot price for replacing any water-damaged ISO insulation board, per-square-foot price for any deteriorated metal decking, estimated project timeline, proof of licensing and insurance, and references for similar commercial roofing projects. Bids must be sealed and submitted by the deadline.
