The City of Summerville is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the construction of an ADA-compliant masonry block park restroom at Fairgrounds Road, Summerville, Georgia. The project consists of constructing a 13 x 17 outdoor ADA-compliant masonry block park restroom with 8 ceilings, featuring two individual restrooms (male and female). The work shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete the following components in accordance with applicable building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards: foundation & slab, exterior and interior walls, roof & ceiling, doors & frames, plumbing fixtures, electrical & lighting, interior accessories, and finishes. All bids must include a signed bid, certificate of non-discrimination, E-Verify compliance affidavit, Save compliance affidavit, request for taxpayer I.D. number (W-9), certificate of insurance, and contractor affidavit. Bids must be signed by an authorized officer or agent of the company and delivered in sealed envelopes. Faxed bids will not be accepted. All changes to specifications shall be in writing and any amendments distributed to all prospective respondents. The successful respondent shall agree to hold harmless, indemnify and defend the City of Summerville, its agents, and employees from any claims for property damages or personal injury and maintain the required insurance coverage. The City of Summerville reserves the right to reject any or all bids, negotiate with selected respondents, and award the contract based on evaluation by the city committee.
