The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 4,000 SY concrete street slabs in the locations listed. Overexcavation may necessary in isolated locations as conditions require. Two existing curb ramps will be replaced in order to bring them into ADA compliance. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specification Bidders are required to submit two copies of their bid in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly marked. Not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate as set by the Missouri Department of Labor and Industrial Relations must be paid to all workers under this contract. A bid security amounting to ten percent (10%) of the bid total must accompany each submission according to the instructions to bidders. The entity reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive irregularities in its best interest.
