LEGAL NOTICE INVITATION TO BID FB-2026-035 Downtown Boise Tree Well Improvement Project City of Boise City of Boise Purchasing will accept bids for FB-2026-035 until 11:00 AM local time; March 25, 2026. A pre-bid meeting will be held on 03/10/26 at 10:00 AM local time at City Hall Plaza - 150 Capitol Blvd, Boise, ID 83702. Bid documents are available online at https://www.cityofboise.org/departments/finance-and-administration/purchasing. Disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids. Contractor is to provide all labor and materials to complete the specified work. Any required ACHD permitting must be obtained before work begins. Any damage to tree well irrigation resulting from work being performed must be repaired. Replace Tree Grate Frame o Furnish and install Boise Parks and Recreation standard metal tree grate frame manufactured by Kuna Machine Shop ((208)-922-4546), or an approved equal. Grate frame is to be natural iron. Dimensions may vary from tree well to tree well. o Remove the existing specified tree grate frame and replace it with the newly fabricated frame. o Ensure that when replacing pavers that the pavers and frame are at grade with surrounding sidewalk and furnishing area pavers. o Ensure that gaps between pavers do not exceed 1/8" gaps and are filled with silica sand. o Reinstall tree grates on the tree grate frame. Bring Pavers Flush Around Tree Well o Reinstall pavers that are not flush around the tree well. This may entail adding/removing base sand and compacting base sand to desired grade. Replace any broken/cracked/damaged pavers with new. Pavers are to be traditional clay bricks. Color is to be Light Iron Spot and Dark Iron Spot. Bring Tree Grates Flush on Frame o Replace any broken/damaged tree grates with new. Grates are to be Kiva tree grates or an approved equal. Gaps must be not exceed 1/8". o Cut tree grate ring(s) for acceptable tree diameter spacing where needed. o Remove debris/dirt where needed.
