Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Eielson AFB, Alaska. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construction of a new 3,515 square meter multi-story facility across Flight Line Avenue from Building 1151 to support the Alaska Red Flag mission and associated air operations. The facility will provide administrative space, building support space, and secure mission-critical work areas. Work includes construction of a permanent facility with a non-frost-susceptible shallow concrete foundation system, steel structural framing, and seismic design incorporating special concentrically braced frames. Exterior construction will include metal siding panels compliant with Eielson Air Force Base Installation Facility Standards, a compatible low-slope membrane roof system, and standing seam metal roofing where visible from the ground. The project includes installation of air conditioning and connection to existing base utilities for steam, water, sewer, and electrical services. Additional work includes hazardous soils remediation, transportation and off-site disposal of contaminated materials, drainage systems, subgrade and subbase preparation, foundation work, and complete facility assembly. Infrastructure and facility design must comply with applicable Department of Defense, Air Force, base design standards, and Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01.
