Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Chestnut Mnd, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 100-square-foot educational facility.

Polk County Schools is accepting bids for the construction of a new 10' x 10' ADA-compliant restroom facility connected to an existing school structure. The project includes demolition, site preparation, utility relocation, and full building construction using 8-inch CMU block. Scope of work: - Remove approximately 1,100 sq ft of existing concrete - Relocate in-ground water shutoff - Remove approximately 100 LF of chain link fence and salvage for school reuse - Grade site for proper drainage - Install approximately 1,700 sq ft of new concrete - Provide proper grading and drainage - Smooth finished concrete floor in restroom - Construct a 10' x 10' CMU structure, 12-block height with one wall tied into existing structure - Install a metal gable roof with drip edge matching existing, with a 4 ft cantilever front overhang and rear overhang to match - Vinyl soffit and gable trim - Interior buildout: 1 ADA toilet and 1 vanity, sewer tie-in approximately 40 ft, 36-inch ADA grab bar, painted sealed walls. Bids may be submitted up until opening on March 13, 2026 at 10 am at Central Office.
