The project involves removing non-hazardous solid waste material and installing a heavy-duty gate at a site just off Centerville Road, approximately 10 miles northeast from the junction of Centerville Road and Honey Run Road, on a parcel owned by the Bureau of Land Management. The contractor is responsible for all prescribed work, materials, waste permits, and associated equipment necessary to complete the project. Bidders must visit the project site and complete the Site Visit Verification Form. All contractors are required to be licensed, insured, and bonded. Contractors must comply with all applicable Federal and State laws concerning the payment of prevailing wages. The awarded contractor must furnish a performance bond within fifteen calendar days of receipt of the Notice of Award in an amount equal to at least 100% of the contract price. The contractor must contact USA California to mark any underground utilities in the project work area at least three days prior but no more than fourteen days prior to the work. Bid Packages shall include: - Bid Proposal Form - Non Collusion Affidavit - Fire Plan BCRCD reserves the right to accept the bid which is in the best interest of BCRCD even if it is not the lowest bid. BCRCD has the right to waive irregularities in any bid, or to reject any and all bid proposals. Any bid protests must be submitted in writing, no later than 12:00 PM PST on the fifth business day after the date that the bids are opened, detailing the factual and legal basis for the protest. At the time of the opening of bids, each bidder will be presumed to have inspected the site and to be familiar with the plans and Contract Documents.
