The Greater Nanticoke Area School District is soliciting bids for the demolition of the Old Lincoln Elementary School Building located at 427 Kosciuszko Street, Nanticoke, PA. Bids will be received for the Building Demolition prime contract. All bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, clearly labeled with the project name, contract number, bidder's name, and bid opening details. Facsimile bids are not accepted. Complete digital bidding documents are available at no cost through the Architect's office, with optional paper sets available for a fee. Each contractor and sub-contractor must be licensed in the community where work will occur. A Bid Bond of 10% of each Base Bid is required, made payable to the Greater Nanticoke Area School District, executed by the Contractor and a surety company licensed in Pennsylvania. The successful bidder must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price and file a Stipulation Against Mechanic's Liens before work begins. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities at its discretion, provided that no bidder receives a substantial advantage through such waiver. All bids must comply with the bidding requirements and instructions specified, and all contractors will be subject to retainage until completion, as detailed in the contract terms.
