Renovation of an educational facility in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Greater Nanticoke Area School District is soliciting bids for Locker Replacement at the Greater Nanticoke Area High School. Bids will be received for General Construction. Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, clearly labeled with the contract and name, project, bidder, and other specified information. Facsimile bids are not accepted. Digital project bidding documents are available at no cost through the Architect's office; optional paper sets are available for a fee. Each contractor and sub-contractor must be licensed in the community where work will occur. A 10% retainage will be withheld for each payment request until the contract is 50% complete. All bids must remain firm for 60 days after the opening. The Owner may waive informalities but is not obligated to do so and reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders must comply with the instructions to bidders. Bonding companies for Performance and Payment Bonds must be listed in the U.S. Treasury Circular No. 570. A Bid Bond for 10% of each Base Bid must accompany each bid. Successful bidders must furnish a Performance and Payment Bond for 100% of the contract price and file a Stipulation Against Mechanic's Liens prior to commencing work. Bidding Documents and Forms of Proposal may be examined at specified locations during regular business hours.
