Renovation of a fire / police facility in Ecorse, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

As of April 10, 2026, the project was awarded to Nile Construction but the awarded amount is not available. Reference Number 0000415156 The Police Department invites sealed bids from qualified and experienced contractors to provide interior painting and flooring improvements at its facility. The intent of this project is to improve the overall condition, appearance, and professionalism of the building, as portions of the interior flooring and wall surfaces are currently in significant need of repair and refurbishment. These upgrades are part of the Department's ongoing efforts to maintain a clean, professional work environment for current personnel and to support recruitment of new police officers. Note: All newly installed flooring shall include cove base where applicable. Scope of Work Painting Services The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the following painting services: o Interior painting of designated areas within the Police Department o Surface preparation, including plaster repair, patching, sanding, and priming as required o Application of paint in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and industry standards o Complete clean-up and proper disposal of all materials upon project completion o All work must be performed in a manner that minimizes disruption to Police Department operations Areas to Be Painted: o Front Desk Area o Patrol Entry Hallway o Detective Bureau and Hallway o Chief's Office o Eight (8) interior doors Flooring Services The successful bidder shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the following flooring services: o Removal and disposal of existing flooring where required o Installation of new flooring, including vinyl plank flooring and carpet o Subfloor preparation, leveling, and finishing as necessary o Installation in accordance with manufacturer specifications and applicable industry standards Areas Requiring New Flooring: o Front Desk Area (existing carpet to be removed) o Patrol Entry Hallway o Detective Bureau and Hallway o Chief's Office Question Deadline 03/19/2026 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No .
