The City of Flowery Branch is seeking solicitations for chemicals used for Wastewater and Drinking Water Treatment for a five year contract term beginning Fiscal Year 2027. The Chemicals are as follows: ACH (Aluminum Chlorohydrate 23%) Bleach (Sodium Hypochlorite 12.5%) - Drinking water and wastewater treatment. Drinking water will use 55-gallon drums and wastewater will use 250-gallon returnable totes. Caustic Soda 50% (Sodium Hydroxide) Citric Acid Fluoride (Hydrofluosilicic acid) Polymer - Respondents interested in bidding on this chemical will be required to schedule a performance evaluation) All drinking water treatment chemicals must be certified to NSF/ANSI/CAN 60. Purchases will be made strictly on an as needed basis, with no guaranteed order volumes. Vendors must use box trucks equipped with liftgates for all drinking water deliveries, and all deliveries must occur at designated City facilities with City staff present.
