Site work for a water / sewer project in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work to be completed consists of the removal and replacement of existing 8-inch sewer mains along Cove Creek Drive and Spring Street, installation of new ductile iron sewer mains, manholes, and associated appurtenances, and abandonment of select existing lines. The project includes bypass pumping, pipe penetrations, an aerial crossing over an existing creek, and reconnection of services. Surface restoration involves asphalt milling and overlay, sidewalk and guardrail replacement, and site cleanup. Work requires traffic control, erosion control, and all necessary mobilization. Sealed bids will be received for the construction of this project. Contractors must have an active Utility Contractor's license issued by the State of Georgia. Complete digital specifications and contract documents are available online for a fee, and Contractors must be on record as having purchased and received bid documents to have their bids considered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids for reasons including, but not limited to, nonconformance, non responsiveness, unbalanced or conditional bids, or if a bidder is deemed unqualified or not in the project's best interest. Question Deadline 05/25/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be directed to Engineer. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
