Demolition, site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Flowery Branch, Georgia. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
The Project will consist of the construction of three new dual-bed two-cell gravity filters equipped with media and Leopold Type XA Underdrain Systems. Other construction will include: new filter effluent, backwash, and rewash pipes installed in the filter building pipe gallery; new air scour piping to support new filters; civil improvements associated with new wash water main serving new filters discharging into existing circular gravity thickener; new asphalt roadway to filters and retacking existing asphalt roadways; improving exterior concrete stairs; relocating HVAC condensing unit and refrigerant lines; demolition of supply fans in the high service pump building and ancillary electrical and instrumentation improvements.
