Demolition, site work and paving for a road / highway in Des Peres, Missouri. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway; for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Scope of Work consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 4,336 SY concrete street slabs in the specified locations. Overexcavation may be necessary in isolated locations as required by conditions. Sixteen existing curb ramps will be replaced to bring them into ADA compliance. Traffic control and other incidental items are also included as outlined in the specifications. Bidders must submit two copies of their bid in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly indicated. A bid security in the amount of ten percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid, in accordance with the provided instructions to bidders. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages, as determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, shall be paid to all workers performing under this contract. Question Deadline 03/17/2026 Bidders may request clarification or interpretation of the Bidding Documents by making a written request which shall reach the City at least seven (7) days prior to the date for receipt of bids.
