Renovation of a retail development in Victorville, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a retail development.

The work includes the complete and related tasks for the Old Town Facade Program Construction Project at 17053 D Street and 15593 7th Street. This involves providing all labor, tools, finishing, clean up, and incidentals necessary for the proper completion of the work. Bids must be submitted via the City's e-Procurement Portal by the specified deadline. Only those who obtain contract documents from the portal will be considered planholders and may receive notices and addenda. Bids require a Bidder's Bond of at least 10% of the submitted amount, payable by certified or cashier's check or Corporate Surety Bond. The project is funded by a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG). Contractors and subcontractors must pay the higher of either State Prevailing Hourly Wages or Federal Wage Determination. The successful bidder and/or subcontractors must possess a valid California Contractor's License B at the contract award time, obtain all necessary permits and licenses, and undergo periodic inspection by city officials. Compliance monitoring by the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) is required, including registration and submission of electronic certified payroll records. Valid CARB Certificates of Reported Compliance for off-road diesel fleets are also necessary. Question Deadline 03/10/2026 at 12:00 PM PT Bidders shall submit all inquiries regarding this bid via the City's e-Procurement Portal, Project A: 17053 D Street - Scope of Work For the purpose of identifying areas at this location, please consider the building in two parts, east side and west side. Divide down the center of the building as facing the front from D Street. Provide all labor and materials as required by the approved building plans for a complete installation of the line items listed below. A. Patch and repair stucco at front and west side of building. Repaint in owner's choice of color per the approved plans. B. Provide and install new brick/stone veneer in owner's choice of color per the approved plans on the east side column. C. Install stained and sealed wood veneer at face of east side store front per the approved plans. Include all required trim and edge treatment for a finished look. D. Fabricate, powder coat and install cable awning above window at east side store front per approved plans. E. Demo planter at west side store front and install 4" raised, broom finished concrete for planter shelf at sidewalk below window. F. Frame out columns and soffit per approved plans at west side store front and install metal cladding with proper backing and underlayment per manufacturer's specs in owner's choice of color per approved plans. Include all required trim and edge treatment for a finished look. G. Install metal parapet cap with pop-out at west side roof line in owner's choice of color per approved plans. H. Replace all storefront glass panes. I. Provide accessible entrance and path of travel from public right of way to building. Maneuvering clearance required at front entry from hinge side of door to 18" beyond strike side of door and extending out 60" from the face of the door. Max door opening force is 5 lbs maximum. Path of travel from front door to sidewalk shall have a maximum running slope of 5% and maximum cross slope of 2%. If running slope is over 5% then a ramp may be used with a maximum running slope of 8%. Ramps require compliant handrails and edge protection on both sides as well as level landings (2% slope in any direction) at top and bottom. The landing shall extend 60" in the direction of the ramp run at the top and 72" at the bottom. J. Provide compliant accessible van parking stall with striping and signage at back of property adjacent to other existing parking. Stall shall be 12' wide vehicle space with a 5' wide unloading aisle or 9' wide vehicle space with an 8' wide unloading aisle. Space shall be minimum of 18' in length. 2% max slope in any direction in parking and unloading aisle. Provide accessible entrance and path of travel from unloading aisle to rear entrance of building. Maneuvering clearance required at entry from hinge side of door to 18" beyond strike side of door and extending out 60" from the face of the door. Max door opening force is 5 lbs maximum. Maximum threshold height is 1/2" with beveled slope not steeper than 1:2. Provide accessible hardware at door. Path of travel from parking to door shall have a maximum running slope of 5% and maximum cross slope of 2%. 4.2. Project B: 15593 7th Street - Scope of Work Provide all labor and materials as required by the approved building plans for a complete installation of the line of the line items listed below. A. Run new circuits for new lighting under soffit. Install new lighting as scoped on approved plans. Install all lighting and controls as required by approved plans. B. Patch and repair stucco at front and repaint in owner's choice of color per the approved plans. C. Provide and install new brick/stone veneer in owner's choice of color per the approved plans. D. Provide and install new roll down curtains at exterior of building. Provide electrical as required by curtain manufacturer. Per Planning department requirements, new curtains must be hidden in soffit when not in use during business hours.
