Renovation of a municipal facility in Peru, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the Miami County Courthouse Site Accessibility Renovations and Toilet Room Renovations at 25 N. Broadway, Peru, IN. The project will be constructed under a single prime contract, with bids received on a lump sum basis. Each bid proposal must include all labor, material, construction, and services required to complete the project in strict accordance with the bidding contract documents. Accompany each bid with a bid security of no less than five percent (5%) of the base bid, in the required form, as specified in the instructions to bidders. Upon award, the successful bidder must furnish a 100% performance bond and a 100% labor and material payment bond from a surety authorized to do business in Indiana, within 10 days of the notice of award. A contractor's qualification statement (AIA Document A305) must be submitted with the bid proposal. The pre-bid conference attendance is required to discuss demolition sequence, securities, contractor's work and storage areas, and requirements for contractor's personnel. Miami County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids, are not obligated to accept the lowest or any bid, and may waive any formalities in the bidding procedure. No oral interpretation or clarification will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Bidding Documents. Every request for such an interpretation or clarification shall be made in writing, and submitted, by the Bidder, to the Architect. Question Deadline 03/13/2026
