Interior Alteration of the First and Second Floor for the New Westlake School, and Partial Alteration of the Third Floor for the New Board of Education Office. Sealed bids will be received for Interior Alterations at Westlake / UCESC BOE under an Overall Single Prime contract (all of the work). Bidders are required to submit one original and one copy of the bid in a sealed envelope with specific identification. Bid documents must be obtained through Solutions Architecture's website, with a fee for either paper or electronic copies. Bids must be made on the provided Forms of Proposal and be accompanied by bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each bidder must submit a Certificate of Consent of Surety stating they will provide a performance/payment bond for the full contract amount if successful. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and comply with state requirements on employment, minimum wage rates, and affirmative action. All bidders and listed subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Revenue, and possess a Business Registration Certificate. For bids over $20,000, prequalification as required by the State of New Jersey is necessary in specific categories, with an affidavit certifying compliance.
