Renovation of a museum in Waconia, Minnesota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Carver County is accepting bids for the replacement of the current HVAC systems at the Carver County Historical Society facility at 555 West First Street, Waconia, Minnesota. Proposals are requested for the design and installation of a new HVAC system capable of maintaining set environmental conditions, including both dehumidification and humidification capabilities. Design review and system testing services will be conducted by a third party to confirm technical goals are achieved as per grant requirements. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check from a solvent bank in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the Owner. Contractors are required to have five years' experience with design and installation of HVAC systems, as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, and demonstrated capacity to complete projects on time and on budget. Contractors who do not attend the pre-bid conference will be disqualified from bidding. Carver County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities or irregularities as deemed in its best interests.
