Warren Dunes State Park Sand Relocation and Snow Fence Removal Scope of Work: Snow Fence Removal: - Remove the snow fence and metal posts from the beach area in a manner that will minimize damage for future use. - Roll up the fence. - Bring the metal posts up to the beach lots. - DNR staff will remove fencing and posts from each beach lot area. Sand Relocation: - Remove all sand accumulations from between the parking lots, from paved parking lots, behind parking lots number 1 and number 3, from the sidewalks, and from around the beach buildings. - The rows of sand should be compacted and smoothed out in the direction toward the lake. - Bidder must include the type of equipment proposed to compact the sand in the bid package. - The rows are not to exceed the water's edge. - Clear the sand from the roadway behind beach lot #1 and beach lot #3. - The shoulder area behind each lot should be at least 15' of clearance. Instructions to Bidders: - Bidders must be present and on time for the mandatory pre-bid meeting and provide their information on the contractor sign-in sheet as verification of attendance. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting and/or who do not sign-in will not be considered for award. - Submit bids through SIGMA VSS with completed bid package and insurance attached. - Bid prices must be valid for sixty days from the bid due date. - Bids must be submitted through SIGMA VSS no later than the date and time specified. - Enter your price proposed, attach a completed and signed copy of the required bid page, and attach your current certificate of liability insurance, per requirements in the specified section. - Bidders are responsible for ensuring bids are received on time. The State is not responsible for late bids not delivered to the correct party. - Do not alter or qualify the Proposal and Contract. The Proposal may be rejected if altered or qualified. - Unsigned bids or bids missing required documents may be rejected as incomplete or disqualified. - Bidder must include the type of equipment to be used for compacting sand in the bid package. - All work must be completed by the mandatory project completion date. - Bidder must agree to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and services required to complete the work in accordance with the specifications and conditions stated.
