Renovation of an educational facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
In general, the work consists of a full replacement of the two existing fire pumps and fire system repairs at University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Lapham Hall. The existing fire pumps, jockey pumps, and controllers are beyond their useful life and difficult to maintain in their current condition. New fire pumps and controllers shall be installed to meet the current NFPA requirements and provide the facility with an upgraded fire pump assembly. Construction bidding documents can be obtained as downloadable electronic files from the Division of Facilities Development website. Additional project bidding information, including plan holders lists, is available on the Division of Facilities Development public website. A pre-bid tour is highly recommended prior to submitting a bid. Failure to visit the site or examine the contract documents will not relieve the successful contractor from furnishing materials, equipment, or performing required work as per the contract documents.
