bid is cancelled The contractor will be responsible for various lengths of 8", 10", 12" and 48" diameter sewer installed by tunnel, open cut, and open cut or jacked pipe; 6 MMSD concrete manholes; 4 City of Milwaukee precast concrete manholes; 1 City of West Allis precast concrete manhole; modifications to or the abandonment of 6 manholes; abandonment of various lengths of 12", 15" and 21" diameter sewer; decommissioning of a pump station, including an offsite 125-kilowatt generator which becomes the property of the Contractor; and approximately 175 linear feet of 6-inch or 8-inch diameter water main. The Contractor shall perform all associated pavement and surface restoration, utility relocation, erosion control, traffic control, and geotechnical monitoring in accordance with the Contract Documents. The work involves facilities owned by the District, the City of Milwaukee, and the City of West Allis, occurring along South 72nd Street, between South Honey Creek Drive and West Oklahoma Avenue, and along West Oklahoma Avenue, between South 72nd Street and South 77th Street. A pre-bid presentation will be posted under Contract C03013C01 on Quest CDN and the District's Procurement Opportunities web page no later than Monday, March 30, 2026. The purpose of the presentation is to outline the project scope and convey details about the bidding requirements and expectations. All potential bidders are encouraged to view the presentation at their convenience. The District will host a virtual meeting for live vendor engagement and Q&A at 2 P.M. on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
