Sealed proposals are requested for the annual resurfacing and/or repair of various streets within the City of Cuyahoga Falls. Bidders must use the provided printed forms to submit their proposals, which must include the full names of all parties involved and be accompanied by a bond or certified check worth five percent (5%) of the total bid as a guarantee that, if accepted, a contract will be entered into. Only proposals from parties who have obtained a recorded bid set of drawings and specifications will be considered. The successful bidder is required to provide a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the total bid amount. Bids must comply with domestic steel use requirements as specified in Section 153.011 of the Revised Code. The City of Cuyahoga Falls applies a Local Bid Preference per Section 181.08 of the Codified Ordinances. The Director of Public Service reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in proposals.
