Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Charles, Missouri. Completed plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; for the renovation of a 44,940-square-foot fitness / recreation center; for site work for a fitness / recreation center; and clubhouse / community center.

Please reference the detailed scope of work narrative provided in the bid documents. The work will include providing the necessary labor, materials and equipment to renovate and modify the existing 44,940 square foot building as detailed in the plans and specifications provided with the bid documents. Concurrent to the renovation for the Rec and Senior center there is the construction of the new City Hall, improvements to 2nd Street (on the West side) and developing an extension of Main Street (on the East side). Such improvements will take place under separate contracts but the construction phase will occur at the same time as the Rec and Senior Center. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit (Guaranty) in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid and payable to the City of Saint Charles, Missouri. The Bid Deposit shall be enclosed in the envelope containing the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a Performance and Payment bond for one hundred (100%) percent of the contract amount. In addition, the submitting party recognizes the right of the City to reject a bid if the submitter fails to furnish any required data required by the IFB, or if the bid is in any way incomplete or irregular. The City shall be the sole judge of compliance with the specifications and reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or parts thereof.
