Sealed bids are invited for the HVAC Equipment Upgrade and Replacement at the GreenForge Building for the Westmoreland County Industrial Development Corporation. All interested bidders must attend a mandatory pre-bid meeting at the GreenForge Building. Prospective bidders must register and obtain the bidding documents directly to be eligible to submit a bid. Each bid must include a certified check, bank draft, negotiable U.S. Government Bonds, or a satisfactory Bid Bond for ten percent (10%) of the bid amount. The successful bidder must provide satisfactory performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 110% of the contract price and a certificate of insurance before contract award. Contractors must comply with all applicable state statutes and regulations, including labor, procurement, and nondiscrimination laws. Contractors are required to recruit minority and women subcontractors actively and furnish all necessary reports and project documents. Work is subject to the PA Prevailing Wage Act, and all pertinent records must be maintained for seven years from the end of the contract.
