Site work for an industrial development in Sikeston, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a industrial development.
The project involves the beautification of the Rose Parkway entrance at the Sikeston North Industrial Park. The objective is to create an appealing entrance for current occupants, visitors, and potential new businesses. Bids must cover all labor, freight, taxes, rental equipment, materials, with a not-to-exceed total. Work includes installing two large kidney-shaped berms on either side of the entrance, each approximately 44’ x 16’, with poured concrete borders, industrial-grade weed barriers, and specified plantings (feathered reed grass, spirea, St. John’s Wort, and drift roses). During planting, plants must receive Bio-Tone Starter Plus and Soil Moist Transplant as directed on packaging. Stone mulch is to be used in the berms with color selection part of the design plan. The area between the berms and the roadway is to be leveled, all ruts repaired, and re-seeded if necessary. Six large protective boulders must be installed at the entrance, color also to be included in the design plan. A 12-month guarantee is required for plants installed, including free replacement. All work is to be completed per the provided deliverables and specifications. Temporary hose bib for watering will be provided by the City of Sikeston.
