Site work for a water / sewer project in Montoursville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of the replacement of the existing vertical turbine well pump, well drop piping, and pump VFD, chemical cleaning of the well, and all associated appurtenances. All bids must be accompanied by a Certified or Bank Check, or Bid Bond payable to Montoursville Borough Waterworks in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid as security. The successful bidder will be required to execute the Agreement and furnish performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, and evidence of insurance coverage as required. Only steel products produced in the United States are permitted, per Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act. Not less than the minimum wage rates set forth in the contract documents must be paid to employees, in accordance with Pennsylvania State Prevailing Wage Rates. Bidding documents must be obtained directly from the Engineer to be considered. Question Deadline 03/26/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
