Industrial-level mechanical services on critical healthcare utility and support equipment, including calibrations, safety device testing, internal and external inspections, preventative maintenance, and repair for four 35,000 lb/hr water tube steam boilers at the Hines Boiler Plant and three Williams & Davis model 3050W-2004-01 boilers with Limpsfield-LCN 9 burners at the Joliet CBOC. Work requires the contractor to furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and expertise necessary to perform all required services while keeping both boiler plants fully operational at all times. All services shall comply with the Statement of Work, OEM recommendations, local, state, and federal regulations, VHA Directive 1810, Hines Directive 578-12-138A-078, and the Boiler Device Safety Testing Manual (current revision v8).
