Site work, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Ridgefield, Washington. Completed plans call for the addition of a conference / convention center; municipal facility; 4,980-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for the renovation of a 4,752-square-foot municipal facility.
The Clark County Event Center existing Administration Building at 17402 NE Delfel Road, Ridgefield, WA will be remodeled and expanded to consolidate staff under one roof. This project includes site work, utilities and a +/-4,980 SF one story addition and an interior remodel of +/-4,752 SF. Construction can occur during normal business hours. The site work includes but is not limited to an Engineered Aggregate Pier (EAP) foundation system, regrading, utility relocations and upgrades, new sidewalks, and landscaping. The exterior of the existing administration building will be reclad with new metal siding and architectural finish panel rainscreen wall systems and include new storefront openings. A new wrap around canopy with standing seam roofing and aluminum plank soffit will be added around the SE corner of the existing building. The interior remodel of the existing administration building includes but is not limited to selective demolition; new wall framing and gypsum board finishes; new doors, relites, door hardware, casework, finishes, electrical / low voltage rough-ins and new LED light fixtures. Existing HVAC systems, fire alarms and fire sprinklers will need to be modified based on the new layout. The one-story addition includes but is not limited to concrete foundation and retaining walls, slab on grade, wood framed structural walls, and wood framed roof structure. The exterior envelope of the building addition includes but is not limited to a new low-slope roof, standing seam pitched roofs, metal siding and architectural finish panel rainscreen wall systems, storefront systems, and a canopy with standing seam roofing and aluminum plank soffit. The interior includes but is not limited to wall framing and gypsum board finishes, new doors, relites, door hardware, casework, finishes, electrical / low voltage rough-ins, LED light fixtures, HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and an extension of the existing fire sprinkler and alarm systems. The building's fire life safety systems will need to be modified as required by code and submitted as a separate permit by the GC selected sub-contractor to the Clark County Fire Marshall's office for permit.
