Sealed bids are requested for the Re-Bid Fairgrounds Parking Lot "A" Rehabilitation project in Clark County. Bids must be submitted to the Office of Purchasing/General Services. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at the Councilors Hearing Room. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive informalities. A non-mandatory but highly encouraged pre-bid meeting is scheduled at the project site. The area is 8.66 acres and is currently a mix of gravel, chip seal and asphalt that has run its course of useful life. The project will consist of but not limited to the following: o Excavation of existing parking area o Conduit runs o In-ground wat retention facilities, o Drainage pipes o Catch basins o Curbs o Erosion control o New illumination plan o Spare conduit o Utility adjustments o Relocation of sheds o Re-grading of work area o Paving o Striping, etc. Contractors shall reference the architectural/engineering plans for anything not covered by the scope or specification sections listed in these bidding documents. BID TABULATION PAGES The bid tabulation sheet will include a base bid for the East side of the parking lot, consisting of approximately 255,398 SF with approximately 652 parking spaces. The base bid will include all illumination, and conduit runs for the entire project. The trench safety system will also be listed as a line item. The bid tabulation sheet will also have an additive item for the West side of the parking lot consisting of approximately 89,794 SF with approximately 230 parking spaces.
