The City of Ridgefield is seeking qualifications from highly qualified firms to provide all pre-construction design services for the S Union Ridge Parkway Rehabilitation project. The City may also elect to have the successful consultant perform construction engineering and inspection associated with the project. The project will design and construct improvements along S Union Ridge Parkway between S 5th Street and NE 10th Avenue, including roadway repairs and resurfacing on approximately 0.88 miles of roadway. The work will consist of evaluation of the asphalt surface as well as the subgrade to determine where full depth repairs are needed. Roadway design shall meet current roadway standards and specifications. Scope of work may include, but is not limited to: HMA (hot mix asphalt) design, asphalt grinding, FDR (Full Depth Repair) areas and striping. All work shall be completed by December 31, 2026. Respondents are required to register for a free account via the City's e-Procurement Portal hosted by OpenGov Procurement. Qualification packets and addenda notifications are obtainable through the portal. It is the sole responsibility of each respondent to periodically check the site for any addenda. All project or contract language specific questions, requests for substitutions or changes, or requests for clarification must be submitted via the City's e-Procurement Portal by the stated deadline. Proposers have the option to submit packets online via the portal (preferred), by hand delivery, or by United States Postal Service. Submittals must be received by the specified deadline, and late, faxed, or emailed submittals will not be accepted. Sealed paper submittals must clearly state the name of the proposer, the date of the submittal opening, and the project title.
