This project, located in Washington County, is for the construction of a portion of MD 615, beginning at the Intersection of MD 615 and I-70 westbound ramp to the Pennsylvania State Line for a total distance of 2.50 miles. The work will consist of partial depth and full depth asphalt patching, wedge/level and resurfacing, fine milling, in-kind cross road pipe replacement, centerline sinusoidal rumble (mumble) strips, recessed pavement markings (RPM), and pavement markings. All bids must be submitted electronically at the specified website in proper form. No paper bids will be accepted. Bidders must designate an individual to submit bids, register with the indicated service, have a paid subscription to the bidding service, obtain a digital ID, and request to bid. Allow at least seven business days for approval and digital ID setup. Bids must be made upon the latest electronic proposal forms and attachments furnished by the Administration. For bids $100,000.00 and above, a bid security equal to at least five percent of the total amount bid must be submitted. The successful bidder is required to supply payment and performance bonds for all contracts in excess of $100,000.00. Minority and disadvantaged business enterprises are encouraged to respond.
