Renovation of a municipal facility in Irvington, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the ADA Ramp Improvement to the Municipal Building. Proposals must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name and the bidder's name. One original and four copies are required. The proposal form must be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of Certified Check, Cashier's Check, or Bid Bond equal to 10% of the total price bid (up to a maximum of $20,000), made payable to the owner. The successful bidder will also be required to provide a Surety Performance Bond for the full amount of the contract. A non-collusion affidavit must accompany the proposal. Bids must be on the provided Proposal Forms; bids not using these forms may be rejected. Appropriate checked literature must be included with each proposal copy. Bidders must comply with applicable laws, including those regarding public works wages, equal employment opportunity, contractor registration, affirmative action, and disclosure of stockholders or partners owning more than 10% interest. The Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and make awards of all or parts of bids to one or more bidders as deemed in the best interest of the Township. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Question Deadline 03/26/2026 No oral interpretation will be made to any bidder as to the meaning of the Specifications , including the drawings . Every request for such an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Municipal Engineer , Township of Irvington , 1 Civic Square , Irvington , NJ 07111. Any inquiry received 4 or more business days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids will be given consideration . The minimum participation level of five percent (5%) for Minority Business Enterprises and three percent (3%) for Women Business Enterprises MBE /WBE has been established .
