The project is for ARRC 1776 Power Car Intake Exhaust Fabrication & Install. Bidders must submit emailed or electronic quotes as specified. Offers should be marked with the offeror's name, date and time for receipt, and project title. ARRC may award the contract to the responsive bidder whose bid is most advantageous, and may reject any or all offers or waive minor irregularities. The contractor is responsible for determining applicable federal provisions. The contract may be funded by the Federal Railroad Administration (FTA) and Alaska Railroad Corporation (ARRC), and may include required federal contract provisions. There is a pre-quote conference and site visit; PPE including hard-hats, safety glasses, and steel toe boots is required. Failure to visit the site does not relieve bidders of responsibility to perform the work according to the terms and specifications. Any additional terms from bidders must include a disclaimer stating that if there is a conflict, the RFQ's terms will prevail. ARRC encourages participation by Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) but does not set DBE goals for individual solicitations.
