Renovation of a municipal facility in Peru, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Sealed bids are requested for Miami County Courthouse, Site Accessibility Renovations, and Toilet Room Renovations at 25 N. Broadway, Peru, IN. The project will be constructed under a Single Prime Contract with the Owner, Miami County, with bids received on a lump sum basis. Each proposal must include all labor, material, construction, and services necessary to complete the project in strict accordance with the Bidding Contract Documents. Bidders are required to accompany each bid with a Bid Security of not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid, provided in the required form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders. Upon award, the successful bidder must furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Material Payment Bond by a surety authorized in Indiana within 10 days of the Notice of Award. Bidders must submit a properly executed Contractor's Qualification Statement, AIA Document A305 with the proposal. Attendance at a pre-bid conference is required to discuss demolition sequence, securities, contractor's work and storage areas, and requirements for contractor's personnel working on the project. No additional costs will be allowed for failure to attend this conference or an on-site inspection. Miami County Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids and may waive any formalities in the bidding procedure.
