Site work and paving for a road / highway in Peru, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The work involves variable depth surface milling, asphalt wedge and level course, full-depth pavement patching, and placement of new HMA surface asphalt on Wabash Road from East Main Street (Peru City Limits) to CR450 East, and on Paw Paw Pike from East Main Street (Peru City Limits) to Wabash Road. Wabash Rd. From East St. (Peru City Limits) To ~ 125' West Of N 450 E Project 2: Paw Paw Pike From East St. (Peru City Limits) To Wabash Rd. Bids must be properly and completely executed on Bid Forms and in the order identified and contained in the Contract Documents from the Engineer's office. Each bid must be accompanied by a fully completed Form No. 96 (latest revision) and acceptable Bid Security. Bidders must be plan holders of record who have obtained contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Any bid not meeting these requirements will be deemed non-responsive. Each bid must include a certified check payable to the County of Miami or an acceptable bid bond in the amount equal to 10% of the total bid price, executed by an incorporated surety company qualified in Indiana. The successful contractor must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each for 100% of the contract price. All Indiana state requirements must also be met, including completion of Form 96 and attachment of the Contractor's Financial Statement.
